This seminar teaches you how to use impact weapons, like night sticks, batons, walking sticks, and staves. Also included are clubs, bats, axe-handles, saps, brass knuckles, etc. The seminar consists of four three-hour short courses on night-stick, baton, disarming, walking stick, and staff. Upon successful completion of the seminar, you should be able to: (1) use impact weapons for self-defense, (2) defend yourself and others against impact weapons, (3) know the legal conditions for self-defense involving use of impact weapons.

Part I. Baton (3 hours)

This course teaches how to use night sticks, batons, clubs, axe-handles, etc. for defense. The telescoping baton is useful as a compact concealed carry weapon to counter knives.

Part II. Disarming (3 hours)

This course teaches you how to counter attacks and disarm your opponents, using impact weapons. The disarming techniques will be augmented by followup control and striking.

Part III. Cane (3 hours)

This course teaches you how to use a walking stick for self-defense. This is an impact weapon that you take many places without scrutiny. For example, on board an airplane!

Part III. Staff (3 hours)

This course teaches you how to use a staff (or spear) for self-defense. The staff is useful to keep an attacker at bay. The spear is a related edged weapon with similar advantages.
